Iris is a flowering plant genus of 310 accepted species with showy flowrs.  Its name comes from the Greek word meaning "rainbow", which is also the name of the Greek goddess of the rainbow.  The petals of the Iris flowrer resemble a classic feur-de-lis symbol, with some petals rising up while others cascade down.  The center petals stand tall like signal flags, waiving in potential polinators.  Select prints from our Floral Collection and create your own wall decor grouping.  Click on the picture to enlarge the view.
