The name Orchid covers any of nearly 25,000 species of attractively flowered plants which grow in areas throughout the world, specially in wet tropics.  Orchids are such beautiful flowers, and I have never been able to grow them.  I take pictures of other peoples green thumbs.  Grow your own, or print mine.  Click on the picture to enlarge the view.
